Not to be confused with the Vectre, another two-door sports car in Grand Theft Auto Online.
The Dewbauchee Specter is a two-door sports car featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Import/Export update, released on January 17th, 2017, during the Specter Week event.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The Specter is mostly based on the Aston Martin DB10, seen in the overall shape, greenhouse area and rear shape. The front bumper seems to be inspired by the one found on the Porsche 918, and the bonnet vents seem to take inspiration from the Mercedes-McLaren SLR. The shape of the rear lights appears to be a combination of the lights on the Aston Martin One-77 and the aforementioned Aston Martin DB10.
The design of the car is relatively rounded and aerodynamic, where the front bumper mainly consists of a trapezium-shaped intake on the centre and two side intakes on a higher height, with an inset centre between these side intakes. The bonnet area features the corresponding Dewbauchee insignia on the centre and plastic housings on the sides, each one having dual, vertically-aligned circular lamps with plastic trim and carbon-fibre base. The same bonnet area has a slight bulge that curves to the sides and features dual meshed intakes near the windscreen, with two chrome separations over each one.
The sides of the car denote the narrow body with the bulky fenders, with the rear ones being wider than the front ones. Trapezoid-shaped exit vents with plastic trim can be seen around the front fenders, just over inset panels that align with the rest of the body as it approaches to the rear fender. The lower area features inset skirting areas fitted with small carbon-fibre strips at the bottom. The greenhouse area features black trim around the windows, carbon-fibre details on the A-pillars, sleek rear-view mirror wings and small rear-quarter windows, with no defined inner pillars between these and the door windows. The rear window features straight upper corners and rounded lower corners.
The rear of the car is distinctively curved, featuring a boot lip with a slightly larger centre and curved mouldings on the outer edges, as well as the manufacturer insignia on the centre of the boot lip. There is a set of red lights with a central red strip between these, along with a plastic strip between the side lights and below the aforementioned light strip. A curved section with a plastic detail spans the whole width of the car, surrounding the dual exit, dual chrome exhaust tips and a license plate with a plastic detail below it.
The underside of the car is mostly covered with carbon-fibre plating, leaving the axle sections exposed. The front plate comforms the lower front end with an elevated section spanning the same width as the front central intake, while a set of body-coloured panels comform the rest of the rear end, just beside the plastic centre.
The Specter is the first car to use its dedicated "Specter" interior; this interior features a wide driver-side dashboard containing a mostly rectangular cluster, having three analog dials centralized on the steering column. On the left there is a square-shaped aircon unit, while on the right there is a carbon-fibre strip on the central column, containing a triangle-shaped aircon unit over the radio set. The steering wheel features various switches and a horn cap bearing the manufacturer insignia, while a set of paddle shifters can be seen behind the steering wheel. The passenger side of the dashboard is seemingly curved and features a sectioned panel, featuring another square-shaped aircon unit. The central area between the seats have an automatic gear stick and what looks like an arm rest.
The primary colour of the car is applied on the bodywork, the rear panels on the underside and the paddle shifters on the interior, while the secondary colour is applied on the stitches found on the dashboard and the seats. The wheels feature a unique set of ten-spoke rims with grooves on each rim and a black centre bearing the Dewbauchee insignia. The car also uses low-profile tyres, with the rear ones having a wider track.

Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
As expected from an exotic sports car, the vehicle performs very well, being one of the most well performing cars in its class. The car has decent acceleration, thanks to a very powerful engine which is given away by the amount of revs the car gives off under throttle. The car's front to rear length is surprisingly compact, given the lack of rear overhang, which lowers the chances of the vehicle spinning out of control under intense cornering. Overall, the car is similar to other cars in the Dewbauchee range, particularly the Seven-70, which shares a very similar overall design.
Because the front bonnet of the vehicle does not open, the engine is not visible. However, with the help of the Rockstar Editor, it becomes clear the vehicle lacks an engine model altogether. This is also the case on the Custom version of the vehicle. The engine sound is roughly similar to the one from the Schafter V12, with a slightly lower pitch.

Trivia[]
General[]
- The vehicle's name is a reference to the 2015 James Bond film, Spectre, as the most prominent vehicle driven by Bond in the movie is an Aston Martin DB10.
- The lack of a bonnet and boot are in reference to the Aston Martin DB10, which, despite having the proper panel lines, lacks the aforementioned attributes.
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
- The Specter emits an electrical beep when the engine is turned off.
- Strangely, the Specter has two tachometers, though only the right side is functional whereas the left one does not. These dials take two different designs from the race dial set the vehicle uses.
