Special Airborne Unit logo
The Special Airborne Unit is a military unit of the United States Air Force in Grand Theft Auto V.
Prominence
The unit has its main base in Fort Zancudo; they are most likely a fighter pilot squadron of the United States Airforce. Their motto is "Confide Nemini" which means "Trust No One" in Latin. Their symbol is a wolf's head with three bright yellow thunder bolts behind it. The colors on its flag are white as the main background, with a red outline on the patch with the black background behind the wolf patch and black lettering.
Trivia
- The unit's main base of operations is in Fort Zancudo in the state of San Andreas.
- The flag can be found in Trevor's trailer on the wall of the living room.
- The unit seems to be based on either the 42nd attack Squadron of the United States Air Force, the 49th Test and Evaluation Squadron, or the 69th Bomb Squadron, as based on what Trevor says about joining the Air Force to hopefully "drop the nuke" one day.
- It makes sense that this was most likely the Squadron that Trevor Philips was supposed to be placed in as it is an active Air Force unit in the game.
