South Slopes is a neighborhood in Grand Theft Auto IV, Episodes from Liberty City and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars in eastern Broker, Liberty City. It is bounded to the north by Schottler and Beechwood City, to the east by Broker Sound, to the south by Firefly Projects (Mohegan Avenue) and Hove Beach, and to the west by Outlook (Montauk Avenue).
Description[]
South Slopes appears to be an upper middle-class residential and commercial neighborhood. It contains a few low-rise apartment buildings, a single large housing complex, and several brownstones. The area also contains many local small-time businesses and stores. South Slopes is among the safest neighborhoods of Broker.
Influence[]
Considering its concentration of brownstones and diverse population, South Slopes appears to be based on several central and western Brooklyn neighborhoods, namely Park Slope and Crown Heights. It also contains certain elements of Greenpoint[1] and Williamsburg[2].
