- "The Declasse Scramjet is final proof that the greatest inventions are accidents. No one thought we had any need to jolt a hyper-stylized retro speedster thirty feet into the air and turbo boost it into the side of the nearest high-rise. But once it happened, and we saw the kind of potential it unleashed, there was no going back. This one's for the dreamers."
- ―Warstock Cache & Carry description.
The Declasse Scramjet is a custom weaponized vehicle featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the After Hours update, released on August 21st, 2018, during the Scramjet Week event.

Design
Grand Theft Auto Online
The Scramjet takes cues from the popular 1960s Anime series Speed Racer and the lead car, the Mach Five. The front and rear fenders resemble those found on the Alfa Romeo 33/2 Coupé Speciale.
The Scramjet is distinctive by its rounded and sleek profile, featuring a trident-like front end with small intakes on either side of the central nose. On the outer edges, large circular lamps can be seen housed behind glass casings, with plastic fittings around them. The hood area is relatively curved. On the sides, the fenders have a bulkier profile on the upper side, as well as triangular inset areas near the wheels and triangle-shaped mesh intakes on the rear, intended for the airflow to cool the rear brakes. The cabin area is always depicted with an open top, featuring a curved windshield seemingly aligned with the door windows and two rounded sections with sharp fins seen directly behind the seats. The rear end has a concave profile with a similar pattern to the front end, where the outer portions house the rectangle-shaped tail lights and the outer edges house the exhausts, which double as rocket boosters.
The interior of the car is mostly unique, featuring a set of "Dominator" dials arranged in a way that the speedometer and tachometer are placed on a driver-side console, and smaller display gauges on the center of the dash and below the radio set. The top side of the same dashboard features a rectangular mirror on the center and the steering wheel bears the manufacturer emblem on the center. It uses large seats with safety belts.
The vehicle only has access to a single primary color applied on the bodywork and the stitching around the steering wheel. It also uses a set of wheels that are identical to the "Drag SPL" muscle wheels available in Los Santos Customs, which can also support a dedicated color (although only examples generated in the Content Creator may have one).
The vehicle is armed with a set of machine guns and missile launchers, which are located on the front intakes.

Performance
Grand Theft Auto Online
- Vehicle
The Scramjet's aerodynamic design allows for good acceleration and top speed, as well as decent handling and braking. Its suspension is low due to its wheels having negative camber, often struggling to sort small barriers, but it is slightly compensated by the front end having a sloped profile, sorting out curbs and small bumps normally.
The Scramjet has 5 Advanced Flags activated[2], including the 4 flags introduced in the Southern San Andreas Super Sport Series update, with only the first three having known purposes. They are as follows:
- The first causes up-shifting to occur much sooner, and at lower engine revolutions, effectively shortening shift rates.
- The second causes the vehicle's engine to heavily over-rev and remain at the engine red-line for a much longer period of time before shifting, causing revolutions to fluctuate.
- The third increases the vehicle's suspension "springiness", causing it to bounce excessively while driving.
The Scramjet is powered by a front engine, coupled to a 6-speed gearbox and powering the rear wheels. Its engine sound is similar to that of the XA-21.
- Armor
Protection-wise, the Scramjet offers little to no resistence to explosive damage, as one direct hit by a Homing Missile is able to destroy it. Furthermore, due to its open-top design, the occupants are also prone to sustained gunfire. Inadvisable to take this vehicle to heavy shootout scenes.
- Abilities
- The Scramjet has a power hop that provides the same effectiveness as the Ruiner 2000. This helps the car in avoiding obstacles such as concrete barriers and roadblocks.
- The Scramjet features a rocket booster that is more effective than other similar vehicles, propelling the vehicle for two and a half seconds, but takes four seconds to recharge. Unlike most cars with the same feature, the booster can be deactivated, allowing for more controllable speed boosts.
Both abilities can be used simultaneously, making the Scramjet a great vehicle for shortcuts and evading most enemies. However, it requires practice, as the car tends to lean forward when using the booster mid-air. This also requires awareness of the environment, as the car may accidentally end up getting stuck or even sinking on water.
- Weaponry
- Machine Guns: the vehicle has dual forward-facing fixed machine guns, which behave like most front-facing machine guns from several land vehicles, with moderate damage against targets on foot and vehicles.
- Missile Launcher: the vehicle has two homing missile launchers, which have good tracking capabilities against most targets, albeit still inferior to the ones from the Ruiner 2000. The launchers appear to have slightly decreased fire rate, taking 1.5 seconds to fire the next missile compared to most vehicles, which only take a second flat. They also have a limited capacity of 30 missiles.
The driver has access to their weapons for drive-bys, being useful against targets that are away of the vehicle's front or in situations where lighter weaponry is vital (i.e. retrieving a target vehicle).

Trivia
General
- Scramjet ("supersonic combustion ramjet") is a variant of a ramjet air-breathing jet engine in which combustion takes place in supersonic airflow.
- The manufacturer choice appears to reflect the real prototype Mach 5 with functioning saw blades, which was built on a 2001 Chevrolet Corvette chassis (with Declasse being the GTA iteration of Chevrolet).
- The Scramjet's ability to jump like the Ruiner 2000, is a reference to the Mach 5's "Auto Jacks" from the Speed Racer anime.
- Additionally, the Scramjet’s rocket engines are possibly a reference to the Mach 4 from the 2008 Speed Racer movie, which sported a single jet engine with an afterburner.
- The default radio stations for the Scramjet are FlyLo FM, Los Santos Underground Radio and Soulwax FM.
Grand Theft Auto Online
- Although not available through conventional means, the Scramjet supports window tint, which is also applied on the windshield. This feature is also shared with vehicles like the Kuruma (Armored), the Visione and the Tezeract.
