Samuel Deever's House is a house located in south Banana Grove, Vice City, that appears in Grand Theft Auto.

Description[]

The house is owned by corrupt Vice Squad officer Samuel Deever. The building is only referred to as a "house" by the doctor during Bent Cop Blues - Phone 10.

Events of Grand Theft Auto[]

In 1997, Just after the protagonist's arrival in the town, they are contacted by Deever, who claims that he has evidence against them, and will put them away "for life" if they don't work for him.

There are a few missions where the protagonist is told to go to Deever's house. The protagonist is once told to take Deever's kids to a hotel by one of Deever's associates Pauly from outside the house. They are later told in Deever's Limousine outside the house to pick up an abortion doctor, which is one of Deever's contacts from his golf club membership, and take him to a clinic. Later on, after picking up Deever from a courthouse, they are attacked by ATF agents. Deever tells the protagonist to lose them and drive to Deever's house.

The final chapter, Rasta Blasta, starts in Samuel Deever's house with the protagonist being told by Deever to kill one of the members of the Brotherhood of Jah Army of Love, a Jamaican gang with which he previously started a war. Shortly after, the protagonist is persuaded by Brother Marcus from the Brotherhood of Jah Army of Love into working for him.

Eventually, during the mission Rasta Blasta - Phone 5, Brother Marcus informs the protagonist that he has found the location of "one o'Babylon high priests" and that he needs to be taken out. The protagonist must head down to south Banana Grove, where the "high priest" and his heavily armed bodyguards are located. It turns out that the location is Samuel Deever's House, and the "Babylon priest" who Brother Marcus was referring to was Samuel Deever himself, who is being protected by his squad in his house. With the help of the Brotherhood of Jah Army of Love members, the protagonist destroys Deever's house, his Limousine, and kills Deever and his bodyguards in the process.
