Upon purchase of a Red's Auto Parts Salvage Yard, the player has one staff member as a minimum and can employ the other for $625,000 in order to speed up their work.
Their main purpose is to salvage parts of a recovered vehicle, though they also help with handling vehicles that are sourced for use in the robberies, with one staff member often appearing at the drop-off points.
When not salvaging parts, the staff can be seen around the salvage yard, working or drinking coffee.
