The Rubber Gun is a weapon that was scheduled to appear in Grand Theft Auto V, but was cut from the final version of the game. An image of it can be found in the game files.

The unused render is based on the Israeli IMI Uzi, similarly to the Gold SMG from The Ballad of Gay Tony, but with a blue tint. Later during the development the gun received a new model with orange color by default and additional ones to choose from. The updated design was influenced by Pepperball VKS Pro, with some design cues from Heavy Rifle. The weapon featured unique rubber bullet type[2][3] which would incapacitate targets like Stun Gun, however without actually shocking them.
A cut firing sound (ptl_rubber) exists in the game files[4]. The file's prefix (ptl) indicates that at some point it could have been in the Pistols category, even though its design is closer to that of a sub-machine gun. Other in-game filenames, however, suggest that it was a sub-machine gun instead[5].
