Rooster McCraw is a minor character in the Grand Theft Auto series who appears as a main character in Grand Theft Auto Online, introduced as a heist support crew member in The Cayo Perico Heist update.

Pavel claims that Rooster was once an Air Force pilot but was discharged on psychiatric grounds (much like Trevor Philips' backstory) and is now a mercenary for hire, the finest Buzzard helicopter pilot available.
He is a stereotypical Redneck. Initially he shared his model with farmer pedestrians, but was later given unique clothing.

The Cayo Perico Heist[]
Rooster is an available support crew member for The Cayo Perico Heist through his association with Pavel. He can provide helicopter gunner support on Cayo Perico through the Interaction Menu for $30,000 once the player has neutralized the air defenses. When deployed, his light blue Buzzard will appear on the radar as a white icon and he will have a generic redneck armed with an assault rifle gunning from the side of the chopper. He will fly around the player position attacking El Rubio's Private Security for two minutes then fly off.
