Events of Grand Theft Auto[]
In 1997, the rookie cop attempts to deliver evidence on the corrupt Vice Squad boss Samuel Deever to a District Attorney. Deever finds out about it and sends the GTA Protagonist after him.
The protagonist tracks him down driving a brown Regal around Greek Heights , after which he follows him to a payphone in southeast Richman Heights and kills him. Afterwards, Deever discovers that the cop's wife is at the Vice Shores Train Station where she will make some calls regarding the DA, so he orders the protagonist to kill her at the station before she gets on the train.
