- Being Obey based on Audi, and the Rocoto based majorly on the Porsche Cayenne (and slightly based on an Audi), the car should have been more based on the Audi Q5, or be manufactured by Pfister, the counterpart of Porsche. Notably, the two actual cars share the same platform.
- The name Rocoto is a type of pepper, parodying the Cayenne which is also named after a pepper.
- The name might also be a reference to the Serrano, which both cars are named after a type of pepper.
