Riding Shotgun is a side mission in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars that is similar to the Rampage! side missions.
Description[]
There are five (eight in the PSP version) Cavalcade FXTs and Bobcats parked around Liberty City. When the player enters one of these vehicles, a Triad henchman will jump onto the back of the vehicle, aiding the player throughout the mission by firing his gun at gang vehicles. The player is tasked with destroying gang vehicles, including and especially the gang leader's Burrito, which is worth significantly more points when destroyed. The target vehicles can be distinguished by the red markers on them.
Gameplay-wise, these side-missions are similar to the mission Driven to Destruction for Zhou Ming, which involves Zhou riding on the back of a Cavalcade FXT, using a Minigun to kill gang members, all the while Huang drives the car.
As with all side missions, completing the Riding Shotgun side mission string (with at least a Bronze medal in all) is necessary to achieve 100% completion of the game.
