He provided the voice of Tommy Vercetti, the protagonist of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. He appeared in TV shows such as Family Guy, Phineas and Ferb, The New Mike Hammer, Just Shoot Me!, Smith, ER, Hannah Montana, SpongeBob SquarePants, Frasier, Our Family Honor, Another World and NTSF:SD:SUV.

  • In The Introduction, Ken Rosenberg calls Tommy Vercetti, but Tommy doesn't speak because Ray Liotta had a dispute with Rockstar Games about how much "effort" he put in Vice City and Tommy's voice wasn't recorded.
  • While working on Vice City, Ray Liotta was described as being very difficult to work with.[citation/verification needed] According to those who worked in the studio sometimes he would be fun and completely willing, but other times he would turn "cruel" and even refuse to record for a number of hours.
