Not to be confused with the Reefer, a boat appearing in various Grand Theft Auto games.
Not to be confused with the Reever, a motorcycle appearing in Grand Theft Auto Online.
The Raver is a four-door sedan featured in Grand Theft Auto: London 1969.
Design
Grand Theft Auto: London 1969
The Raver is best described as a generic family car with curving design cues rooted in the 1950s, presumably a common sight on British roads in the 1960s. As hinted by its name, the car is implied to be based on a Rover, appearing to be similar in design to a 1949–1964 Rover P4.
The name refers to the term raver which means a person commonly going on dance parties on the UK and wearing white t-shirts and jeans, the term was mostly used in the 90's.
Performance
Grand Theft Auto: London 1969
Despite its unassuming appearance, the Raver possesses impressive road going credentials that are partially similar to those of the Ferocious GTO, with equivalently excellent top speed; however, its acceleration, grip, and braking are average. It even has 2% more endurance to damage than usual. However, the car is 25% heavier than most cars in the game, bogging down its acceleration and maneuverability.
Rewards
Grand Theft Auto: London 1969
- The car's base export value is low, selling at £400 when delivered in perfect condition.
