Rasta Blasta - Phone 14 is a mission in Grand Theft Auto available during Vice City Chapter 2: Rasta Blasta, given to the protagonist by Brother Marcus. The mission is available from the phone behind the fire station in Southeast Miramire in Vice City.

Description

The mission begins with Brother Marcus informing the protagonist of the Vice Squad's plan to kill his mother in order to get to him. The player needs to steal a Taxi and go and pick her up from southwest Greek Heights. She will then need to be taken back to her house in east Vice Shores to complete the mission.

If it takes too long to pick her up, she will get another Taxi sent by the Vice Squad, and it will explode as she gets in. Thus, the mission will fail. There is no exact time limit however: sometimes the mission is failed even if the player gets near her as soon as possible, avoiding all cars, having triggered the mission already possessing a Taxi, and sometimes even some minutes elapse before she is killed.

Reward

The player will be awarded 40,000 points and a +1 score multiplier for completing the mission.

The protagonist picks up Brother Marcus' mother in front of the Cafe in Southwest Greek Heights. Brother Marcus' mother: Where you been? Lazy lagga-head! I been waitin' an age! Get me home to me yard, an' don't think y'can fix me fare neither! The protagonist takes Brother Marcus' mother to her home in East Vice Shores. Brother Marcus' mother: There! Keep the change. More than you deserve the way you drive! Mercy, it were the most uncomfortable ride of me life! Brother Marcus: Well done, bro'! You done I an' I a righteous service! Sorry for the verbals, me Madda a lilly bit feisty.
