Template:Infobox vehicles The RC Raider is a remote controlled helicopter featured in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.
Design
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City — Liberty City Stories
The RC Raider is essentially a dark green miniature remote-controlled helicopter with a small main rotor and rounded cabin. Like its counterpart, the RC Goblin, the RC Raider seems to be an original concept from Rockstar Games, as the helicopter does not take any inspiration from a real-life helicopter.
The RC Raider also exists in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, but it is never used in any of their missions and thus can only be obtained through a third-party hacking device or modification to spawn the helicopter.

Performance
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City — Liberty City Stories
Performance wise, the RC Raider is faster than the RC Goblin due to its ability to pitch steeper, but possesses far more sensitive controls that leaves the RC Raider prone to flying upside down. Much like the RC Goblin, the spinning blades of the RC Raider can be used to execute heli-kills on pedestrians. The blades also have a change in color from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Its handling is comparable to the VCN Maverick from GTA Vice City.

Prominent Appearances in Missions
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
- The RC Raider can only be controlled through a Top Fun mission, RC Raider Pickup, in Escobar International Airport.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- Zero is seen flying an RC Raider during the mission Wear Flowers in Your Hair.
Trivia
General
- RC Raider is a play on the word "arse raider" which is a slang term for homosexual or a sexual offender.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
- If the player duplicates the RC Raider Pickup mission, he can temporarily obtain the RC Raider and fly it. However, pressing the fire button will crash the game.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- If the player kills Zero during the mission Wear Flowers in Your Hair, he will drop a detonator (which was presumably repurposed to be a remote controller). However, if the player picks up the detonator and use it, nothing will happen and it will disappear.
- The player can obtain the RC Raider in Wear Flowers in your Hair by pushing the RC Raider using a Sawn-Off Shotgun into a garage after meeting Zero, or by blowing it up beforehand and pushing it with a car. The latter will be in 'Allproof' form. A video tutorial about this can be found here.
