Jonnie informs Mike that a senator has enough support to pass an anti-smoking bill that would ban smoking in bars, which would be bad for business. Mike locates the senator, who is being driven back home, and damages his limousine, which causes the limousine to explode. The senator attempts to escape on foot, whilst the LCPD chasing Mike. However, Mike continues his pursuit and beats up the senator, who agrees to get the bill dropped.

You know anything about politics, Mike? I hope you're still undeclared because I've got a situation. This senator wants to ban smoking in restaurants and bars and he just about has the votes to do it. I don't have to tell you it'd be bad for business, do I? Why don't you see if you can persuade the senator to change his mind.
It's simple really. Just make sure your anti-smoking bill isn't put to a vote... ever.
Senator:
Done. Now get the hell out of here.
Jonnie (pager):
Lose the police before coming back. Jonnie.
Mike loses the cops and return to Jonnie's bar.
Jonnie:
Excellent work, Mike. I'll still have to keep my eyes on the senator; he showed he's got some spirit. You've got to respect a polititian who can keep his pants on.
