Tracking Device is a planning work featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Los Santos Tuners update. It is a Free Mode mission that can be conducted in any session type by CEOs, VIPs and MC Club presidents.
Description[]
Sessanta will tell the player that the plates are in a convoy and that the player will need to go to Fort Zancudo and plant a tracking device on the trailer that will be transporting the plates.
Before reaching the fort, the player can optionally steal a Crusader that is marked on the map at Liquor Ace and use it to enter the fort undetected. The player can also fly over the fences without any risk of being detected.
Once inside, the player will need to search for the trailer, which will be located either inside hangar A1 or in front of Fort Zancudo Fire Station. Once located, the player will need to take a photo of the trailer and send it to Sessanta, while staying clear of the soldiers inside, else they will open fire on the player. After that, Sessanta will tell the player to plant the device underneath the trailer, more often than not requiring the player to fight the soldiers.
Once the device has been planted, the player will need to leave Fort Zancudo and lose their Wanted Level to finish the mission. There is a Rhino (for solo) and two APCs (for teams) that can be used to help the player safely get to faster transportation.
