Disrupt Equipment is optional planning work for The Gangbanger Robbery, featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Chop Shop update.
Description[]
The mission is started at the Planning Computer inside the Salvage Yard, and is available after the Scope Out: Mission Row Police Station mission is completed at least once.
Jamal reminds the player that the cops inside the police station may have gas masks, which can prevent them from passing out from the BZ Gas during the jailbreak. He sends the location of one of the LSPD lockups that just received an equipment shipment and tasks the player to destroy it in order to facilitate the jailbreak. The player has ten minutes to complete the mission.
The lockup is guarded by two cops which must be dealt with before breaking into the lockup. Inside the lockup, the player must destroy the shipment crates using explosives. Grenades are provided from the weapon crate inside. After the shipment is destroyed, the player must search the lockup for the shipment schedule in order to find the location of the incoming delivery of equipment.
After collecting the shipment schedule, it will reveal the location of the three vehicles containing the shipments. Destroying the shipments before the mission timer runs out will reduce the number of masked cops invulnerable to BZ Gas during the jailbreak.

Trivia[]
- The image for the seal of Los Santos used on the shipment crates present during this mission contradicts the original seal present in both Grand Theft Auto Online and Grand Theft Auto V. This is likely a developer oversight by the prop artists. [1]
- An unofficial Marabunta Grande logo of the same origin, seemingly inspired by the gang members' tattoos, was also included on crate props in The Chop Shop update, despite the gang itself never having any official logo.
