Bypass Module is a planning work for The Duggan Robbery, featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Chop Shop update.
Description[]
The mission is started at the Planning Computer inside the Salvage Yard, and is available after the Scope Out: Maze Bank Arena mission is completed at least once.
Jamal informs the player that Merryweather Security is often developing portable "anti-immobilizer" bypass modules, which is required to bypass the Arena War vehicle immobilizers, in order to leave the Maze Bank Arena with the target vehicle.
He cannot find which Merryweather lockup has the device stored because they have signal jammers around the city hiding their locations. The player must find and destroy the three signal jammers around the city, so Jamal can track down Merryweather's lockup and the bypass module. Each signal jammer is located on rooftops, and guarded by armed Merryweather guards.
Once the three signal jammers are destroyed, Jamal will send the location of the lockup. The entrance of the lockup is guarded by a few Merryweather guards, once of which is in a Insurgent Pick-Up machine gun turret.
In order to get access to the lockup, the player must destroy the control panel to open the garage door. Inside the lockup, the bypass module is being protected by Merryweather guards, including one wearing a Ballistic Equipment.
After escaping the lockup with the bypass module collected, the player must deliver it to the Salvage Yard. If the player is killed whilst holding the bypass module, a four-minute timer will be activated, following which the mission will fail if not yet completed.
On the way back to the Salvage Yard, the player will be pursued by three waves of two Merryweather Mesas with two enemies each.
