Wikipedia has an article on: Piccadilly Circus

The Piccadilly Circus is a landmark that appears in Grand Theft Auto: London 1969 and Grand Theft Auto: London 1961.

Description[]

It is a road junction and public space of London's West End. It is located at the conjunction of Soho, Camden Town, City and Angel.

It was built in 1819 to connect Regent Street with Piccadilly. In this context, a circus, from the Latin word meaning "circle", is a round open space at a street junction. The junction's first electric advertisements appeared in 1910, fifty years prior to the events of the game. In both 1969 and 1961, in-game brands such as Fab Cola, Bollocks, Penith Colour Television and Pissbeer are advertised at the Piccadilly.

Events of Grand Theft Auto: London 1969[]

An unnamed store is blown up by the GTA London Protagonist under orders of The Crisps' Contact after the owner refused to pay Jack Parkinson his protection money.
