Palomino Creek is a relatively large rural town located in Red County, San Andreas, that appears in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Description[]
Palomino Creek is located in the northeastern part of Red County, San Andreas. The population size of this town is estimated at 6,836. It is home to the Palomino Creek Bank (which has experienced numerous robberies), a safehouse that can be purchased for $35,000, and Hanky Panky Point, a popular destination for amorous teenage couples and voyeuristic onlookers.
The town is named after the creek that flows past it. Palomino Creek's location halfway between Los Santos and Las Venturas makes it a frequent stop for motorists travelling to either city. The fact that it is served by several major roads has no doubt led to its growth and success.
Influence[]
It is based on Bakersfield, due to the farms and fields around the town, and the river passing through it bearing resemblance to Kern River. It can also possibly be based on Big Bear City, due to its location being northeast of Los Santos, similarly to Big Bear's location being northeast of Los Angeles.
Residents[]
- Carl Johnson (if the Palomino Creek Safehouse is purchased)
