PED Cycles, also known simply as PED, is a bicycle manufacturer appearing in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.

Description[]

The company's logo appeared at the bottom of the original Pedal and Metal Cycles page. Additionally, the unused logo was discovered in the files for the player-owned garages in Grand Theft Auto Online.^[1].

While the PED brand is present in texture files and on the Pedal and Metal Cycle website, it remains unused in-game. Script files found in GTA V's 2023 source code leak indicate that several bicycles were intended to have PED designated as the de facto manufacturer.^[2]. In-game, however, the manufacturer of the bicycles is not displayed on the HUD.

Influence[]

It is possible that it is inspired by BMC Switzerland, given the resemblances in names, logos, and the type of bicycles it produces.
