The Oriental Theater is a Chinese-themed cinema featured in Grand Theft Auto V.
Description
It is located on Vinewood Boulevard in Downtown Vinewood, Los Santos. It is based on Hollywood's TCL Chinese Theater (formerly known as Grauman's Chinese Theater).
It is one of the most famous movie theaters in the world. The theater is probably used to show movie premiers like its real life counterpart. Oftentimes, there are people dressed as famous characters from media such as Republican Space Rangers, along with tourists taking photos of the theatre. Its operating hours are from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The Oriental is the HD Universe equivalent of GTA San Andreas' Cathay Theater.
According to the Vinewood Star Tours, the theater opened in 1928, which a lot of protest from the fans of actress Miriam Turner, who wanted to take pictures underneath her dress.

Grand Theft Auto V
- Meltdown - Michael and Jimmy attend the Meltdown premiere at the theater, only to find out Amanda and Tracey are in danger. Michael then rushes to his house within two minutes and fights Merryweather agents to protect his family.

The Oriental is one of the three theaters (along with Ten Cent Theater and Tivoli Cinema) in Los Santos where the player can watch movies.

- In the Vinewood Star Tours, it's said that there's a saying that "if you visit Los Santos and never visit Oriental Theatre, it's like going to China without visiting Burger Shot, although the tour guide "never understood what it means".
