Life's a Beach is an Open Wheel Race featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Los Santos Summer Special update, released on August 11, 2020. It is available for up to 16 players.
Description[]
The race is a 36 checkpoint long Lap race, default to 10 laps. The pit lane is located between checkpoints 34 and 1.
It takes place above the sea near Chumash. The racers start on the pit straight facing south-east. Once the race commences, they race down the straight, soon coming to a left-hand kink and a long right-hand corner, followed by a 90-degree left-hander and then a tighter right-hander. They then race through a long right-hand corner and another similar corner to the left, followed by three 90-degree turns and then a few more corners and hairpin turns.
At checkpoint 20, they turn onto a straight, which takes them over the Chumash Historic Family Pier. The straight is followed by a hairpin turn, a left-hand corner, and another hairpin. After this, the players race through two 90-degree corners, the second one opening to a long left-hander, followed by a left hairpin turn.
What follows are two long sweeping corners, the second of which leads the players down the pit straight, where the start/finish line is also located.
