Protect the Yardies until the ambulance arrives.
Clear a path for the Yardies to reach the ambulance.
Go and meet the ambulance.

Night of the Livid Dreads is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories given to protagonist Toni Cipriani by corrupt LCPD police officer Leon McAffrey at the Aspatria Waterfront Park in Aspatria, Staunton Island, Liberty City.

Mission

Toni meets Leon in Aspatria where he is informed that the Uptown Yardies are struggling to hold on to Newport and are under attack from the Sindacco Crime Family. Toni goes to the alleyway behind Ammu-Nation, where the shoot out is taking place. One of the Yardies leaves to get an Ambulance for Rudyard, who had been shot, whilst Toni kills the Sindacco Family gang members. Toni and the Yardies escape the alley, whilst Rudyard is taken to Carson General Hospital in Rockford.

Reward

The reward for completing the mission is $2,000 and the Munitions Dump mission is unlocked, provided that the player also completed Shoot the Messenger. Despite expressing gratitude towards Toni for his help, the Yardies will become hostile towards him after the mission, with no in-game explanation given.

The city continues to be rupt by gang warfare as the power struggle between the Sindacco and Forelli mafia families continues unabated. Both have been reported to have lost ground recently to emerging gangs keen to take advantage of this mafia feud. The FBI is laying the blame for current troubles firmly at the feet of the mysterious "Mr. Big", with whom they are eager to talk. More later, only on LCN.
