The NOOSE Van[1] is a law enforcement van that was cut from Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto V.
Description[]
Grand Theft Auto IV[]
The van's only appearance is in a promotional screenshot[ref?][vague], where what appears to emergency lights can be seen on top of a Boxville in the distance. Police officers and other police vehicles are seen running towards the player in the screenshot.
Grand Theft Auto V[]
Like Grand Theft Auto IV, the van does not appear in the final game and there are little to no traces of it in the game's files. The vehicle's model name (noosevan) is mentioned in leaked game files.[2] Elsewhere, code which remains in the final build defines its functionality as a police vehicle dispatched at 2 star wanted levels. The vehicle is dispatched with a driver and two rear passengers, all of which are armed. The van's rear doors are permanently opened while in pursuit and the two rear passengers will open fire at the player if they are in front of them.[3]

Grand Theft Auto IV[]
The van assumes the design of a Boxville with what appears to be a dark grey/black livery and red/white emergency lights on the front end of the vehicle's roof, similar to that of the Enforcer.
Although there are no traces of the vehicle in the game's files, it can be noted that the standard Boxville's light texture contains red and blue emergency lights.
Grand Theft Auto V[]
Although there is no leftover model, texture analysis data indicates that it was a Boxville with police lights and SWAT (NOOSE) decals.[4]

- The Long Stretch - commented-out script data from the mission indicates that at least one NOOSE Van was intended to respond during the trio's escape sequence towards the end of the mission, alongside the Police Cruisers and Police Maverick.[5]
Notable Owners[]
- It is implied that the National Office of Security Enforcement (NOOSE) owned and operated the vehicle.
