Mr. Wong (Mr.黃) is a character from the Grand Theft Auto series who exists in both the 3D Universe and the HD Universe.
Mr. Wong owns Mr. Wong's Laundromat in Chinatown, Portland, Liberty City and is presumably a member of the Triads. This can be presumed due to Triad security during the mission Cipriani's Chauffeur, when Toni Cipriani visits the laundromat.
Wong may also be a member of The Wong Brothers, the three brothers seen during the side mission "Wong Side of the Tracks" in GTA Liberty City Stories.
Grand Theft Auto IV
Mr. Wong's Laundromat appears in GTA IV's rendition of Liberty City, and is used as a front for a money laundering operation headed by Wong himself.
There is a street in Chinatown called Wong Way.
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
Mr. Wong owns his laundromat and appears in person in the Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars section of the Rockstar Games Social Club. The laundromat is the subject of a Flash game, which allows players to earn money and multiplayer clothing for use in GTA Chinatown Wars for Nintendo DS.
- Wong is one of eleven characters in the series to exist in both the 3D Universe and the HD Universe, the others being Jock Cranley, Cris Formage, Lazlow Jones, Jack Howitzer, OG Loc, Fernando Martinez, Madd Dogg, James Pedeaston, Marvin Trill, and Willy.
- Despite his name is on the shop or Mr. Wongs signs many times, he never appears in the GTA series.
- In Grand Theft Auto Advance, the logo on Mr. Wongs is the Chinese character "魚" for "fish". This could be an oversight, or a sign that Wong sells fish, the same as Belly-Up.
