Haha! Hehehe! Okay Kid, if that's what your real name is... you need to prove to me that you're capable of doing something crazy enough for me to sponsor you.
— Mr. Fike to Ned "The Kid" Braden.[1]

Mr. Fike is a cut character scheduled to appear as a minor character in Grand Theft Auto Advance.

History[]

Background[]

This mysterious, borderline insane individual loves to see chaos unfold, and he's willing to pay big bucks for it. No state of disorder is disorderly enough.
GTA Advance: Game Design Document - Version 1.3, 26th February 2003. Digital Eclipse. (Page 23)

Mr. Fike is a borderline insane man living in Staunton Island, Liberty City. He was scheduled to give three missions to Ned "The Kid" Braden (early iteration of Mike), involving killing authorities and getting their attention.

He is a spiritual successor of Darkel, a domestic terrorist cut from Grand Theft Auto III, and his missions follows the same premise – Kill Frenzy-inspired objectives given by a mission contact and with a brief story behind them.

Events of Grand Theft Auto Advance (2003)[]

The Kid first encounters Mr. Fike after moving to Staunton Island. During his first encounter, he challenges the Kid to steal a Police Car, set it on fire and drive around the island getting attention of the law, before delivering the vehicle to Mr. Fike while still on fire.[1] After proving himself to Mr. Fike, the Kid is challenged to destroy 20 vehicles by any method in order to start a mass hysteria in Staunton Island.[2]

During his last encounter, Mr. Fike challenges the Kid to get the FBI and Military's attention, and steal an FBI Car and a Tank during the confusion. After delivering both vehicles, Mr. Fike pays the Kid and tells him he will attempt to do the same himself, and disappears.[3]
