Movies are an activity in Grand Theft Auto V. The player can watch movies by accessing one of the three cinemas across the map:
While the Cinema Doppler can be purchased by the player, movies cannot be seen there. The player can also bring friends to movies while on activities.
Viewable Movies
- Capolavoro - an incomprehensible black & white arthouse drama spoken simultaneously in French and Spanish, which uses footage from Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption. The title is Italian for "masterpiece"; a reference to the high regard people hold for foreign films.
- The Loneliest Robot in Great Britain - an animated fable set in futuristic Great Britain. While having a seemingly family friendly style, it is laden with profanity, homophobia and dark images.
- Meltdown- a Solomon Richards drama about a young man caught in the financial meltdown (spoofing Wall Street and it's sequel Money Never Sleeps). Michael De Santa is the associate producer of this movie, and it plays a role in the storyline.
