- "As a good lawyer will tell you, your motives for sneaking into a meth lab on the shores of the Alamo Sea cannot be established beyond reasonable doubt. And they'll also tell you to expect a whole lot of pushback..."
Meth Lab Survival is a Survival job in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the continuation of the The Diamond Casino & Resort update, released on September 26, 2019, during the Survival Series Week event. It takes place at Liquor Ace in Sandy Shores.
The players start on the balcony of the meth lab, which provides adequate cover against the enemies, at least during the first few waves. It overlooks the east and south sides of the building, where many different props are located to provide cover for the enemies.
There is a health pack located at the entrance to the upper floor of the building, with another one located on the east side of the building. Two armour pickups are also located on the west and east sides of the lab.
- Tear Gas can be very useful, especially if playing solo. If defending on the balcony, the gas can be thrown in the corridor inside the upper floor, near the entrance. As there are only two ways to get to the balcony, and both require the enemies to go through this corridor, it can be used to kill them passively without the player having to worry about enemies flanking them.
- If playing with more players, one could stay in the aforementioned corridor, shooting enemies as they come through. Another possible hold-out location is behind the counter of the store, as enemies will also come through the store entrance, albeit this strategy is much slower.
- The air conditioning units on the balcony will explode if damaged enough. While the explosion will not kill the player, it can still wound them and knock them to the ground, leaving the possibility of enemies charging the player and killing them.
