Mandarin Mayhem - Phone 5: Mission 1 is a mission in Grand Theft Auto 1 level 3, Mandarin Mayhem, given to the Protagonist by Uncle Fu. It is available from the first phone on the left in north Sunview.
Mission
The mission starts off with the protagonist being told to go and answer another payphone in east Sunview. Upon answering the phone, it is revealed that the police are interfering with Uncle Fu's operations and must have an "attitude adjustment". The protagonist is first instructed to steal a Squad Car (using any means necessary) and take it to Ho Hung's bomb shop in southeast Aye Valley. After it has been rigged with explosives, the squad car needs to be taken to the diner in southeast Telephone Hill (although the dialogue says Aye Valley) and parked in between the other squad cars in the parking lot. Once the explosives detonate and destroy the other police cars, the mission will be complete.
Tip
It is not necessary to confront the police to get a Squad Car, only a big vehicle, e.g. Bus is required. From the vehicle parked against the fence, it is possible to jump to the impound yard in Aye Valley. Once inside, the player can take any Squad Car without getting a wanted level.
Reward
The player will be awarded with 40,000 points and +1 score multiplier for completing the mission.
