Spectacle is a Lunar New Year Stunt Race featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Agents of Sabotage update, released on January 23, 2025. It is available for 1 to 16 players.
Description[]
The race is a 28 checkpoint long Lap race, default to 2 laps.
The starting grid is placed on the water in Puerto Del Sol Marina, the racers facing north. Once the race begins, they immediately turn right and proceed down the waterway leading out of the marina. The track drops ever so slightly and the players have to drive through a layer of water, and a tunnel track piece encloses the area. After the short tunnel, they proceed out of the water and up an ascending piece of track, before coming to a 180-degree right-hand turn and continuing towards the marina again. A short straight is followed by a fast-paced right-left chicane, after which the track drops down onto a red platform on top of the water in the marina. A boost pad is placed in a tight area underneath the supports of the marina. Soon after, the racers take a big steep jump onto a large platform on a higher level while going through a set of floating lanterns.
The racers proceed north-east and reach a relatively narrow red platform taking them through the La Puerta Apartments construction site, after which the platform raises a bit and turns into a long right-hand corner that ends with the players facing back towards the marina. A boost pad is placed at the beginning of a slightly descending piece of track, after which the racers pass underneath a paifang arch and jump past a short gap between track pieces, before continuing towards the marina. Another three boost pads are placed on the track, after which the racers pass the marina, go underneath another paifang arch and again jump onto another track piece. This jump is bigger than the previous, taking them higher and allowing for stunts to be performed.
Passing a paifang arch, the players leave the large platform they landed on and continue on a red platform, past two Chinese architecture towers. They then proceed up a steep piece of track onto a sloped red platform with a boost pad. They continue off the platform and around a right-hand corner, after which they pass a paifang arch and drop to a red platform almost at sea level, next to the Del Perro Pier. They continue down a short straight – where there is a boost pad placed – and take a big jump that allows for stunts.
Landing on a red platform on a slightly higher level, the racers continue past the Clock Tower Building and around a right-hand turn, followed immediately by a right hairpin turn. The track ascends slightly and then bends 180 degrees to the left, around the clock building. What follows is a descending piece of track with a boost pad in the middle. The racers jump off the track and into one of the canals in Vespucci Canals, which is covered by a red platform; the track is now covered by a layer of water. They continue down the canal and through the short tunnel that leads to the Puerto Del Sol Marina, where they turn left at a 90-degree corner. A boost pad is placed on the left side of the track, immediately followed by a more open right-hand corner leading to the start/finish line.
