The Ludendorff Church and Cemetery is a Catholic church and cemetery located in Ludendorff, North Yankton.
Description
Situated over a level crossing on an unnamed side road off Cavalry Boulevard, the church is only ever seen surrounded by snowdrifts. The pathway leading to the entrance of the cemetery on the right is lit by several lamp posts. A wooden sign in front of the main entrance to the church displays dates for Mass and notices.
The cemetery is surrounded by a brick wall and sharp, metal fence. Inside are various tombs and headstones, although very few have the deceased's name, date of birth and/or date of death inscribed on them. A health pack can be found near a stairway and door on the opposite side of the building.
