Ludendorff Cemetery Survival is a Survival job in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the continuation of the Bottom Dollar Bounties update, released on October 10, 2024, during the Halloween 2024 (Week 2) event. It takes place at the Ludendorff Church and Cemetery in Ludendorff, North Yankton.
Description[]
During the seasonal Halloween event, the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival can be started at the Survival Series marker or its specific marker at the Hill Valley Cemetery in Pacific Bluffs.

Similarly to the previous "Project 4808" Survivals, the type of enemies changes as the player progresses through the waves, ranging from undead of various types (normal, fiery, explosive, armored, mage), and possessed animals including deer, coyotes and boars.
Players start in the middle of the graveyard. After this, they are free to collect pickups and find adequate cover. The Radar and the player's health bar are hidden for the action and can only be seen by opening the Weapon Wheel. With each passing rounds, the undead will become increasingly faster and more resilient to damage.
There are health packs and armour pickups scattered all over the graveyard on the north side and around the church building on the south side. Unlike other Survival jobs, pickups will remain the same throughout all 10 rounds.

Undead types[]
There are five undead types that will attack the player in this Survival, each benefiting from increased health and a special ability.
Name | Power | Image |
---|---|---|
Possessed animal | Possessed animals will appear on certain rounds. They can either be deer, coyotes or boars. Their attacks will cause the player to bleed for a few seconds, inflicting damage. | |
Armored | This undead is dressed in heavy ballistic armor, making them highly resistant to damage, requiring multiple direct explosions to kill in later rounds. Juggernauts may also appear as a Fiery or Explosive variant. | |
Fiery | Will ignite the player when close enough. When they die, they produce a flame burst similar to a Molotov Cocktail, igniting both nearby players and undead. | ![]() |
Explosive | Will trigger an energy pulse akin to the Compact EMP Launcher once they manage to get close to the player, or when they are killed. | ![]() |
Mage | Mages will remain stationary and generate poisonous gas clouds near players with their cursed staff, preventing them from remaining in the same spot for too long. Mages emit a distinctive sound and are also surrounded by poisonous gas. | ![]() |
Awards[]
Completing all ten rounds will also award the player with the Lundendorff Survivor outfit. Additionally, the following Awards are earned for completing gameplay milestones related to the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival.
Note that the progress for the Death Trap award must be completed in a single job, so its Platinum tier can only be unlocked in the Endless Waves mode.
They can be tracked from the Pause Menu at Stats > Awards > Bottom Dollar Bounties.

Oversights[]
- As the in-game zone for "North Yankton" from Grand Theft Auto V does not exist in this game, the Survival is listed as being set in "Cayo Perico" in the lobby due to the shared coordinates of these areas.
- Since Cayo Perico is not loaded during the Survival, the HUD will always display the location name as Pacific Ocean.
Trivia[]
- The track featured in the trailer and in-game score is "Smuggler Track INF" by Show Me the Body, previously featured in the Condemned Adversary Mode as part of the official score for the Smuggler's Run update.
- Michael's grave is the spawn point for the Hatchet during this Survival, referencing the mission Bury the Hatchet from Grand Theft Auto V.
- The description for the survival references the "Go to your grave." mission objective in the same mission.
- An invisible wall is placed all around the graveyard, preventing the Rockstar Editor camera to reach the town of Ludendorff.
- The San Andreas map is still loaded while the Survival is active. The top of the Mount Chiliad can be spotted from afar, distinguished by its shape between the low poly snowy mountains to the north of the cemetery.[1]
