- "When you put 16 one percenters in a race, only one of them can come out on top. Watch the privileged few try to cheat and outmaneuver each other in this freeway lap race in central Los Santos. Locked to the Zentorno."
- ―Race description.
The course is a long clockwise oval looping around Downtown Los Santos, with the front stretch on the Olympic Freeway and the backstretch on the Del Perro Freeway, connected by a short stretch of the La Puerta Freeway. Because of its length and width and uniformity of the vehicles, the course races much like a restrictor plate superspeedway (such as Daytona International Speedway in NASCAR), particularly when slipstream and catchup are turned on. As such, players can frequently slingshot from the back of the pack to the front, while the leader has few means of driving away from the pack. The three turns, however, are relatively sharp and much more narrow than the straightaways.
