The London Cab is a taxicab in Grand Theft Auto: London 1969 and Grand Theft Auto: London 1961.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto: London[]
The London Cab serves as the replacement to the conventional yellow Taxis featured in Grand Theft Auto's American cities. The taxis, which are evidently based on the Austin FX4 "Hackney carriage" common during the 1960s, are black and boxy in design. If the player manages to respray a London Cab, the roof-mounted taxi sign may appear in blue or magenta, as opposed to the usual orange. Unique in comparison with other cars, the cab features suicide doors.
Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto: London[]
Like the Taxis in Grand Theft Auto, the London Cab's performance is remarkably above average, with a good top speed and acceleration, as well as good cornering and braking for handling that complements its engine power (although its grip is below average).
