For the helicopter in GTA San Andreas, see Leviathan.

The Leviathan's logo.

The Leviathan is a small roller coaster in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online located at the Del Perro Pier at the Fair Ground called the Pleasure Pier in Los Santos.

The roller coaster is almost identical to its real life counterpart, the only difference being that the catwalk is located on the other side of the roller coaster track. The roller coaster can be ridden by the player at a cost of $10.

As of the Independence Day Update, the Leviathan was made available in Grand Theft Auto Online with a maximum of two players per carriage. Minor speed changes and graphical enhancements were made for the Online version of this fairground ride. Players can earn RP by speaking into the microphone while on the ride.

From the top, the rollercoaster's track appears to resemble a penis, another example of Rockstar's crude humor.

The roller coaster is based on the West Coaster at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles.

  • Prior to its patch in 1.16, there was an amusing glitch where two players could ride the Rollercoaster in the same seat at the same time in Online play.

  • The Leviathan is a Biblical sea monster.
  • Coincidentally, Canada's Wonderland has a rollercoaster called the Leviathan, which was opened in 2012.
