Leopolds Department Store is a luxury department store chain in the HD Universe, first appearing in Grand Theft Auto IV.
Description[]
Grand Theft Auto IV[]
The store appears as a non-interactive building, located on the corner of Columbus Avenue and Garnet Street in Easton. The store is also featured under "Department Stores" on Peepthatshit.com. There are a few base jumps near the Leopolds building.
Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The store makes another appearance in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online as a luxury shopping complex in Rockford Hills. Though the store is inaccessible, it supposedly features the following clothing brands inside:
Influence[]
The company appears to be based on luxury department store brand Saks Fifth Avenue. Leopolds' logo and its color scheme is seemingly inspired by the logo for former department store chain Barneys New York.
Location Influences[]
Grand Theft Auto IV, Episodes, and Chinatown Wars[]
- The Easton location is based on 770 Broadway, which was originally Wanamaker's department store.
Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]
- The Rockford Hills location is based on the former Saks Fifth Avenue location at 9600 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills.

Oversights[]
Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online[]
- In the PC version of the game, the Rockford Hills location has a texture bug on the air conditioning setup, wherein a "test" mapping texture is used, displaying numbers 1 to 16. This was not present in either the original, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4 versions of the game, and is likely a developer oversight while making changes to the game for the PC version.[1]
