Hey Kid, we understand you're looking for some information on your dead partner. Well, the Scorellis are involved in some pretty shady schemes, and we think they might have been behind it.

Lee is a cut character scheduled to appear as the deuteragonist in Grand Theft Auto Advance.

History[]

Background[]

Triad leader/informant. Lee's temper can be furious, but he never shows his anger. This man is as cool, and ruthless, as they come.

Lee is the leader of the Liberty City Triads in Portland, intended as a mission contact for Ned "The Kid" Braden (early iteration of Mike).[2]

Events of Grand Theft Auto Advance (2003)[]

While impersonating an explosives expert looking for clues on the car bomb assassination of his best friend, the Kid discovers that the explosives expert had contracts with the Liberty City Triads, leading him to return to Portland and investigate the Triads.[3][4] Lee is introduced to the Kid and becomes the final mission boss in the storyline.

During his introduction, Lee informs the Kid about a shipment of weapons currently in the hands of the Scorelli Crime Family, an Italian Mafia organization in Portland, and suspects that the gang might have been involved with the car bomb incident. The Kid tracks down and destroys the Scorelli's weapon shipment.[1] However, the Scorellis soon realize the Triads were involved with their loss and have two Triad members whacked, leading Lee to hire the Kid to kill three or more Scorelli mobsters on their own turf afterwards.[5]

Soon after, Lee is informed that a Scorelli mobster is planning a major hit on one of the Triad's high-ranking members. In order to stop the hit, Lee hires the Kid to pick-up a prostitute in the Red Light District and drive her to the targeted Scorelli's location. Once he enters the Kid's car with the prostitute, the Kid drives to the Harwood Autocrusher and Junkyard, killing both the Scorelli mobster and the random prostitute in the car crusher. [6]

Lee eventually finds out that a Scorelli mobster has bought a new car and is waiting for the delivery. He has the idea of hiring the Kid to intercept the delivery, steal the Scorelli's car, rig it with explosives and deliver it to the Scorelli as a trap. Once the Kid successfully completes these tasks, Lee suggests he wait for the Scorelli to pick up some of his mobster friends for a drive in order to get rid of more Scorellis at the same time, which he does. [7]

On another occasion, Lee hires the Kid to intercept a food delivery van heading to a heavily guarded Scorelli celebration, and swap it with a Triad-owned delivery van containing poisoned food in order to kill the Scorellis at the party.[8]

The Triads soon discovers that the Scorellis have been spying on them from a nearby picture shop. The Kid is told by Lee to pick up a set of prints from a Triad contact at an undisclosed location and deliver them to the picture shop. It is not specified what the contents of these pictures are, although it is intended to be used as a warning message from the Triads to the Scorellis.[9]

After helping the Triads in their war against the Scorellis, Lee gives a tip-off to the Kid that might lead him to finding the money stolen during the car bomb incident. Lee informs him that the Scorelli uses an oil refinery as a front. Using a semi-trailer truck rigged with explosives, the Kid blows up the entire facility.[10]

Depending on the order of missions played, the lead on the Scorellis might end up being the true lead, with one Scorelli mobster surviving the explosion and being interrogated by the Kid.[11] Using the information given by the Scorelli, the Kid attacks several Scorelli-owned hideouts, only to find through a Scorelli mobster named Vinnie that the money was the only reason behind the death of Kid's friend.[12]

Lee appears one last time to inform the Kid about the Scorelli Crime Family being splintered, with the money constantly changing hands.[13] He gives one last tip-off to the Kid, which leads him to find the stolen money with the Scorelli Boss. [14]
