The unnamed Laundromat Owner is a minor character in Grand Theft Auto IV.
History[]
Background[]
The owner is a Russian man from Moscow who moved to Liberty City at some point in or before 2008, where he became the owner of a laundromat in Hove Beach, Broker.
Events of Grand Theft Auto IV[]
The man owes money to Russian loan shark Vladimir Glebov. When Niko Bellic goes to collect Vlad's money, the laundromat owner throws a laundry hamper at him, and tries to escape in a Laundromat, but is chased and pulled over by Niko. He says he was going to get Vlad his money but was having trouble getting it together. He later appears in the mission Clean Getaway, having a friendly drink with Vlad, who tells him in Russian that if he wants to make money here, he had better work with him.
It should be noted that like a typical pedestrian in GTA IV, the laundromat owner appearance will be different in each of his appearances, not just with his outfit, but also his facial features, lacking or featuring a mustache, and sporting different eyebrows and hair design. In general, he can be described as a middle-aged man with a plump appearance.
Vlad refers to him as the "Muscovski" jerk, literally meaning "Muscovite/From Moscow" in Russian.
