This article refers to a mission that can prevent you from achieving 100% Completion in GTA III,

This mission prevents the player from completing the rest of Luigi Goterelli's and Joey Leone's missions if done before them, which means that the player should complete Luigi Goterelli's and Joey Leone's missions before doing this mission if they want to achieve 100% completion.

Last Requests is the final mission in Grand Theft Auto III given to protagonist Claude by Leone Crime Family Don Salvatore Leone from his mansion in Portland Beach, Portland, Liberty City.

Description[]

Claude goes to Salvatore's mansion to celebrate destroying the ship docked in Portland Harbor used by the Colombian Cartel to manufacture SPANK. Salvatore tells Claude that there is one more thing he needs doing before they can celebrate. A car needs to be collected from nearby Luigi's Sex Club 7 and taken to the Harwood Autocrusher and Junkyard before the police discover the vehicle, which is covered in blood.

As Claude approaches the car's location however, Maria pages him, warning him that the car is a trap and a bomb has been planted into its engine, and tells Claude to meet her at a small jetty in Callahan Point.

At the jetty, Maria describes how she told Salvatore that they were an item and that Claude is now a marked man, before introducing Yakuza co-leader Asuka. The three travel to Newport, Staunton Island by boat. Maria tells Claude to look around Staunton Island, and Asuka informs Claude of a safehouse he can use.

Reward[]

The reward for completing the mission is $20,000. Completing the mission unlocks Staunton Island and the Sayonara Salvatore mission. However, any incomplete missions for Luigi Goterelli and Joey Leone will be permanently disabled, thus preventing 100% Completion.

Claude goes to see Salvatore at his Gentlemen's club.

Salvatore Leone:

It's my favorite cleaner! I'm proud of you, my boy, you kicked the shit out of those greaseballs. I just got one little job for you before we can go celebrate. Take it to the crusher before the cops find it.

Claude heads to Luigi's Sex Club 7 to supposedly get the car that Salvatore was talking about, only to get a message on his pager from Maria Latore.

Maria
(Pager):

This is Maria. The car's a trap! Meet me at the slip south of Callahan Bridge.

Claude goes to a pier in south Callahan Point, where Maria is waiting.

Maria:

Listen, Salvatore thinks that we're going behind his back, so he was offering you to the Cartel in order to make a deal. I couldn't let him do that, I mean, the worst thing is...it's all my fault, because I told him, we were an item. Don't ask me why, I don't know! Look, you're a marked man on Mafia turf, and I've got to get out of here too. I've seen too much killing, too much blood...This is a friend of mine, OK, she's an old friend...it's Asuka, she's someone we can trust.

Asuka Kasen:

Come on, enough of the speeches. We better get out of here before we get more hysterical Italians wanting less friendly reunions.

Claude, Maria and Asuka hop aboard a boat and make their way to Staunton Island, stopping at the docks near Asuka Kasen's Condo.

Maria:

Asuka and I are gonna have to talk, uh, why don't you go cruise around?

Asuka Kasen:

You'll need a place to lie low. There's a warehouse at the edge of Belleville that should suit your needs. Come back to my condo when you're ready, and you and me can have a little chat.

Reporter:

News just in from the traffic desk: repairs to the Callahan Bridge have been completed. Since the explosion, engineers have been working around the clock to get traffic flowing between Portland and Staunton Island once again.

During the cutscene where Claude meets Maria and Asuka at the jetty, a second Claude can be seen inside the boat.
If the player was to somehow get Maria and Asuka out of the Reefer, then the game will softlock. They can still pilot the Reefer to the designated jetty, but the ending cutscene will not play.

Trivia[]

Getting inside the Cheetah will, obviously, trigger the bomb immediately and cause the car to explode, killing Claude and thus failing the mission. It is possible, however, to quickly exit the car right after getting in, and survive the explosion if Claude has sufficient health and armor, and Maria's checkpoint will still remain on the radar if this is done.
It is possible to push the Cheetah to the vehicle crusher in Harwood, though other than awarding the player a small monetary amount this will not affect the mission.
It is also possible to push the Cheetah to the garage and save it. The player won't be able to drive because it will explode, but it is possible to make Salvatore enter it in the next mission and kill himself. A video of this can be seen here.
After completing this mission, the icons of the Ammu-Nation and Pay 'n' Spray will reappear on the radar, but only in Staunton Island.
Hitting either Maria or Asuka during the boat sequence will have both retaliate and shoot Claude with Uzis, potentially jeopardizing the mission due to the player being wasted as a result.
