The branches are inaccessible in Liberty City Stories and in Vice City Stories can only be accessed during The Audition.
It is a more obvious parody of Burger King, mimicking the name and even using the same font as its real-world counterpart. However, it is implied that it went out of business by 2000, as all of its locations have been replaced by competitors.

By 1986, the setting of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the King Knuts branches in Downtown and Little Haiti have been replaced by outlets of the Well Stacked Pizza Company while the restaurant at the Vice Point Mall has been replaced with the eastern food court locations of Beef Bandit and Shaft Hot Dogs.
- The name of the restaurant is possibly a play on the phrase fucking nuts.
- Knut is a Scandinavian first name, and the name of the restaurant could also be referring to the Danish kings that ruled over England during the 11th century, a further play on Burger King.
