Kidnapper's Accomplice is a minor character in Grand Theft Auto IV and The Lost and Damned.

History

Background

The accomplice is a Russian gangster and the accomplice of an loan shark associate of Dimitri Rascalov, who is a massive loaner to Ashley Butler. His unique dialogue in Hostile Negotiation implies he works in the Russian gambling business in Bohan operated by the Rascalov Mafiya.

Events of Grand Theft Auto IV and The Lost and Damned

His first chronological appearance of the Russian kidnapping duo is during The Lost and Damned in the apartment of Ashley Butler, when the Russian loan shark order Johnny Klebitz to kidnap Roman Bellic for his debts. He does not speak during his appearance, only making gestures of shooting with his hand as his associate is threatening the biker couple.

Some time after Johnny delivers Roman to the warehouse on Lompoc Avenue, Niko begins an assault on the warehouse. The accomplice of the kidnapper is last seen guarding the room where the kidnapper had presumably taken Roman. As with the kidnapper himself, his accomplice has unique dialogue, taunting Niko Bellic and claiming Dimitri Rascalov will be pleased to hear he is dead. Ultimately, Niko kills both the accomplice guarding the room, and the kidnapper inside the room, before taking Roman to safety.

Appearance

In Grand Theft Auto IV, the accomplices uses a generic Russian mobster character model, shared with Vasily and a Russian blackmailer working for Dimitri Rascalov.

In The Lost and Damned, the kidnapping duo are given unique detailed cutscene-only character models (cs_russian_goon.wdd and cs_russiangoon2.wdd).
