For fans of extreme sports, Junk Energy is synonymous with spikes of adrenaline, racing heart rates, and unnaturally fast reaction speeds. Junk Energy’s latest venture is no change of pace, with a range of Time Trials for the new Inductor that rotate daily and test riders’ talents. Make clever use of the Inductor’s battery for temporary speed boosts, and make sure your Stamina attribute is at peak levels to beat the par time for GTA$ and RP.

Complete Junk Energy Time Trials Blips-GTAO-BicycleTrial-Purple each day to earn cash and RP. Beat your first Par Time to unlock a bonus reward.

Junk Energy Time Trials are short races from one location to another. They are locked to the Junk Energy Inductor provided nearby (although one can still bring their own personal version or even the regular model), and the goal is to beat a par time, rewarding the player with money and reputation. A purple corona will highlight the starting point, which can be seen on the map as a purple bicycle Blips-GTAO-BicycleTrial-Purple.

Once the player starts the trial, the screen will fade to black, after which they will assume control of an Inductor. A 3-second countdown begins and then the race starts. Unlike standard Time Trials, the player must follow checkpoints, similar to land races. Players must take advantage of the boost functionality to reach checkpoints quicker, as well as the bunny hop functionality to sort out small obstacles.

The race is live and one-player only, meaning that other players can see the player racing in the freemode session. To avoid interruptions by others, the player is switched to passive mode.

If the player took a wrong turn or has gone over the par time, they can hold Keyboard White F (PC), Y (Xbox) (Xbox One/Series X|S), or Triangle (PlayStation) (PlayStation 4/5) to restart the race. The player will then be placed back at the start and the countdown timer starts again. If the player falls from the bicycle, they are given 20 seconds to re-enter it before failing the time trial. Entering a different vehicle, destroying the bicycle or sending their personal one back to storage will also result on failing the time trial.

Junk Energy Time Trials are unique and change every day (real-time) in a followed order. Once the player has beaten the par time once, the time trial becomes unavailable for both characters until the next day.

There are a total of fourteen time trials.

The Junk Energy Racing Suit has been unlocked and added to your wardrobe. Keep completing Junk Energy Time Trials each day to earn Cash and RP.
