Design[]
The Journey II is essentially a clean variant of the Journey, which is entirely based on the 1977-1980 Triple E motorhomes. Just like its original counterpart, the vehicle may spawn with certain accessories, including the window options with opened or closed curtains, and a ladder on the driver side of the rear portion. The interior keeps most of the features from the original version. Even though the vehicle is intended to be a clean counterpart of the original Journey, it still contains the worn interior in the back. However, all the trash and posters are removed and the walls and floor are not dirty. The side-door on the inside of this vehicle is also white, instead of brown in the worn counterpart.
Color distribution is similar to the original Journey, being a primary color for the upper half of the sides and the frames of the side awning, along with a secondary color for most of the bodywork and in the form of upper side stripes passing through, adjacent to the primary color area. The lower side stripes adjacent to the secondary color area, however, are determined by the trim color. It uses the same wheel design as the original Journey.
Performance[]
The Journey II shares the same handling data as the regular version, having acceptable acceleration and handling thanks to a torque-heavy diesel driving the front wheels, but only average top speed. Furthermore, while it can take damage, it is highly unsuitable as a getaway vehicle. It is prone to severe understeer at high speeds, likely owing to its heavy weight. It can also tip over and potentially land on the sides when steering heavily due to its high center gravity at medium-to-high speeds.
Like the regular version, a compact single-cam turbocharged V6 model can be seen under the van, though is easier to see using the Rockstar Editor Free Camera. Said engine is coupled to a 4-speed gearbox and powers the front wheels. It also shares the same sound, being a relatively noisy engine with a similar tone to vehicles such as the BF Injection and the Dune Buggy.
