The Itali GTO is a two-door sports car in Grand Theft Auto and a grand tourer featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the continuation of the Arena War update, released on December 26, 2018, during the Festive Surprise 2018 event. It is manufactured by Grotti in the HD Universe.
Influence[]
2D Universe[]
In Grand Theft Auto, the Itali GTO resembles a Lamborghini Miura Roadster.
HD Universe[]
Badged as a Grotti vehicle, the Itali GTO returns to Grand Theft Auto Online and is now based on the Ferrari 812 Superfast. The front bumper is taken from the Mansory Stallone 812; the rear bumper and diffuser are reminiscent of the one found on the Vorsteiner's bodykit for Ferrari 458. The hood seems to be inspired by the one found on the Aston Martin Zagato. The headlights seems to be a mix of the ones found on the Corvette C7 and Ferrari F12.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto[]
The Itali GTO has a rounded, simple design, and can be identified by its twin bonnet vents and open roof. Its name is a parody of Italy, where Lamborghinis come from.
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The front of the car is distinctive for its carbon fibre splitter, the two large intakes on the centre and the two smaller ones on the edges, also featuring a badge on the lower left displaying its name. Its headlamps are composed of two circular lamps and LED-like light stripes extended upwards, with what appears to be turning signals on the plastic housings. The bonnet features two intakes and the front end has the manufacturer's badge.
On the sides, a distinctive concave formation runs through the doors and towards the end of the same, where a fin can be seen just next to the front wheels. Another concave formation can be seen just below the doors, followed by carbon-fibre skirts. The rear-view mirror shells have a carbon-fibre appearance in the upper half. The rear quarter windows have wide plastic trims.
On the rear, small rear-facing vents can be seen on the rear fenders, along with an open space in the boot compartment and a carbon-fibre stripe on the roof. Circular tail lamps can be seen housed in plastic, with the outer "rings" being the position lights, the middle ones being reverse lights and the inner lamps being the turning and brake lights. A carbon-fibre detail can be seen connecting the lamps, along with the corresponding badges below it. The rear bumper is mostly composed of a gray panel holding the license plate and the carbon-fibre diffuser on the lower side, with a large housing for the exhausts. Its underside is mostly plated in carbon fibre, leaving the rear axle and part of the exhaust tubes exposed. The vehicle uses its own "Itali White" interior, which appears to be similar to the "Nero White" interior, but featuring colourable interior stitching and a slightly shorter upper side of the dashboard, with the middle part being closer to the middle aircon units.
The car is prominently painted in a primary colour on the bodywork and interior stitching, while the front intake separations, the lower concave portions, the lower half of the rear-view mirror shells, the engine cam covers, the middle section of the roof and the exhaust housing are painted in a secondary colour. An interior colour is also available for the dashboard, steering wheel, gear stick, doors and seats, as well as part of the boot. The stock wheels are identical to the "Split Ten" rims also available in Los Santos Customs, albeit having a white appearance and already fitted with custom tyres, evidenced by the "ATOMIC" and "ENDO 32RR" markings on them.

Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto[]
It has a good top speed, good handling, but low durability, sharing the same attributes as the Itali GTB.
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The Itali GTO possesses very good acceleration, good top speed and braking, making for a capable getaway car. However, its durability is fragile at best in terms of collisions.
Before The Diamond Casino & Resort update, its handling was very twitchy at high speeds. It can maintain most of its speed at a light turn, but turning hard caused it to oversteer very easily, amounting partly to its rear-biased AWD drivetrain and partly to a set of advanced handling flags set on the car. Another one caused the car to become especially sensitive—and unstable—over bumps. All of the above made the car especially problematic to drive, such as in scenarios wherein the player has to weave through traffic.
After the update, the car's handling has been remarkably improved, with the twitchy aspect and the instability over bumps almost completely negated. While they are still present, the Itali GTO has become much more controllable, therefore being a very competitive vehicle for races, especially in direct comparison to the Pariah.
The Itali GTO is powered by a V-shaped engine powering all wheels through a 6-speed gearbox. The engine model, while not specific in terms of configuration, emulates the Ferrari 812's V12 engine.
