In the Crosshairs is the final mission in The Ballad of Gay Tony given by Ray Bulgarin to Luis Lopez.

Description

Luis heads to Ray's house. When Luis arrives there, Bulgarin is toting his Assault Rifle but Timur is nowhere to be found, and appears to be out on a job. Bulgarin tells Luis that he has some business to take care of, and after shooting multiple rounds through the ceiling at his screaming sister, Bulgarin sends Luis on to the place.

Luis heads to Columbus Avenue and Denver Avenue to get to a nearby rooftop. As he gets there, he finds a box with the severed head of The Cook inside. Indeed, it appears that the Diamonds were stolen from Bulgarin, knowing Tony Prince and Luis set up the deal, he wanted to kill Luis and planned an elaborate setup to do so which involved snipers and cars full of armed men. The plan failed however, and Luis lived on to despise Bulgarin. After Luis completes the mission, he then calls Tony and alerts him of the problem.

In order to complete the mission the player must:

• Go to the building and protect Timur.
• Take out the snipers.
• More assassins have arrived. Find a way off the roof.
• Leave the area.

Luis enters Bulgarin's house. Bulgarin is holding an Assault Rifle, and he seems displeased or anxious.

Bulgarin's sister constantly interferes with his dialogue with Luis.

After stealing the diamonds from the deal in The Libertonian museum, Bulgarin somehow got information that Luis has some diamonds for sale.

Luis and Tony Prince originally bought them from The Cook.

Bulgarin's sister interrupts again.

Bulgarin's sister is teasing him.

Bulgarin is trying to shut her up.

Bulgarin shooting his Rifle through the ceiling at his sister.

Luis shows concern for another human being.

Bulgarin's sister has really gotten on his nerves.

Bulgarin fires several more shots at the ceiling out of anger.

Back to the subject – the diamonds.

Luis has to talk to his boss, Tony, before making such a decision.

Bulgarin is teasing him for not making the decision by himself.

Luis rightfully refuses to accept Bulgarin's claim as the diamonds are not his. And he adds the fact that he doesn't feel like a man after all the work he put for Bulgarin.

Bulgarin promises that he will become a real man soon, but for now Luis needs to go cover Timur.

Go to the building and protect Timur.

Arriving at the building.

Luis gets up to the roof expecting to provide cover for Timur, as instructed by Ray Bulgarin.

Bulgarin tells Luis to go up to a box and open it.

The birthday cake box seems to be bloody.

The Cook's decapitated head is in the box.

Luis is stunned by seeing such brutality unexpectedly.

Bulgarin appears to be upset about the diamond deal Luis and Tony did.

Bulgarin accuses Luis of personally stealing from him.

Luis tries to explain that him and Tony just bought some diamonds.

Bulgarin will not listen to Luis and believes that he deliberately stole from him.

Bulgarin will not tolerate such disrespect.

Luis is being shot at.

Take out the snipers.

A sniper on this building's rooftop.

He falls to his death.

He is forced to find an escape through the rooftops. A helicopter arrives to attack him.

Luis shoots the russian gangsters while avoiding getting blown up by grenades.

Using an Automatic Shotgun to blow up the enemy cars on ground level.

Leave the area.

Mission passed.

Trivia

• This is the first time a decapitation is seen in the HD Universe, with the second being in the Yeti seasonal event in Grand Theft Auto Online.
• Armando Torres can appear in this mission if Luis does not have a sniper rifle.
• In the cutscene of Luis entering the roof, the door is red and has a small window on it. Once he takes out all of the snipers and tries to leave the roof, the door is green.
• If Luis is carrying a parachute, it will be lost when confronting Bulgarin's men, most likely to prevent the mission from being completed too easily by simply jumping from the building with it.
