The Idlewood housing projects
The Idlewood Projects are a large housing project featured in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Overview
The housing project is located in the neighborhood of Idlewood in Los Santos, near Reece's Hair & Facial Studio. It is also Front Yard Ballas territory, unless claimed for the GSF by the player.
Influence
The complex resembles the Jordan Downs housing projects in Watts, Los Angeles. The Jordan Downs projects are known as the birthplace of the Grape Street Watts Crips, the gang from which the Ballas draw their purple color from.
