Template:Next-Gen Template:Infobox vehicles
Not to be confused with a similar vehicle in GTA San Andreas, the Hotring Racer with a similar design and purpose.
The Declasse Hotring Sabre is a stock car featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Southern San Andreas Super Sport Series update.
Design
Grand Theft Auto Online
The car's design is a mix of the first generation Chevrolet Lumina, and the 5th generation Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, both of which were used as NASCAR stock cars at the time.
As expected from any real-life stock cars, the Hotring Sabre does not have any functioning lights, and does not have a license plate, as well as a protective cage around the engine compartment and cabin. The Hotring Sabre also has opening doors, despite not having any door handles, and a passenger side window net unlike its real-life counterpart.

Liveries
There are 30 liveries available to be applied, 10 of which are unlocked for purchase by competing in Hotring Circuit Races in GTA Online.
Each livery replicates a real life NASCAR sponsor livery or are a reference to fictional NASCAR Stock Cars in the movies Days of Thunder or Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.

As well as having a major sponsor, each vehicle livery includes multiple decals of minor sponsors in variable patterns primarily around the front wheel arch. The Power Metal #5 livery is the only one with a secondary sponsor decal (Wigwam) that is not part of the generic subset of minor sponsors.

Performance
Grand Theft Auto Online
The Hotring Sabre is a fast car in the Sports Class, with an extremely high top speed and good stability. However, it is prone to lose control when hit, as the handling is somewhat sluggish and the turning radius is not very good. In addition, it can spin-out easily if driving through bumps, especially when turning. Furthermore, it has relatively poor acceleration compared to other sportscars.
The vehicle is powered by a single-cam V8.
