The Bravado Hotring Hellfire is a two-door stock-racing vehicle featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the San Andreas Mercenaries update, released on September 14, 2023, during the GTA V 10th Anniversary Week event.
Influence[]
The vehicle appears to be based on the Dodge Challenger SRT TA2, featuring a more race-oriented profile and design in comparison to that on the original Gauntlet Hellfire.
Liveries[]
- The "3 Redwood" livery is based on Timmy Hill's Dodge Challenger.
- The "25 LTD Gasoline" livery is based on Tom Penske's Dodge Challenger sponsored by Würth.
- The "22 Meinmacht" livery may take inspiration from the B-Quik Challenger SRT TA2.
- The "69 LS Airforce" livery is inspired by [Bubba Wallace's "Shark-Face" livery {{{2}}}].
- The "46 P's & Q's" livery might be inspired by Kyle Busch's M&M's livery.
- The "36 Coverup Paints" livery is inspired by Jeff Gordon's "Rainbow Warrior" liveries.
- The "44 Sprunk X-treme" livery might be inspired by Cole Trickle's "City" Chevy from the movie Days of Thunder.
- The "73 Shrewsbury Shotguns" livery is based on Dwayne Leik's "Wenger-RealTree" livery from 2001.
- The "17 Patriot Beer" livery is based on Ross Chastain's Jockey livery, and Greg Biffle's U.S. Army National Guard livery.
Design[]
The vehicle has notably similar features found on the Hotring series of vehicles such as the Hotring Sabre and Hotring Everon, such as the same slick tires and rim design, similarly-positioned exhaust, additional riveting of the windshield and the use of a safety net on the windows. Unique to the Hellfire, however, are two mechanical roof flaps that raise when the brake is applied, a standard feature on modern stock cars.
Compared to the original Hellfire, the Hotring variant also includes other minor details, such as a significantly lowered suspension, a slightly reduced body width, a vented hood, removed headlights and taillights in place of a sticker mimicking the original design, and repositioned fuel cap.
Unlike other Hotring vehicles, the Hotring Hellfire can be fitted with aftermarket body options.
Performance[]
As to be expected from a stock racing car, the Hotring Hellfire has a very respectable performance down a straight line, with good acceleration and stability, along with a top speed of 120 mph which is quite good for a Sports class vehicle. However, while it has decent traction and grip, it lacks agility in the corners and can struggle to navigate around corners without sliding, especially when applying the throttle – a trait shared with the vehicle it's based on, the Gauntlet Hellfire.
The Hotring Hellfire, with some help from its stock-racing car style roof flaps, has exceptional braking performance, being capable of stopping the car from top speed in measly 1.5 seconds with the Race Brakes upgrade, making it one of the mightiest braking systems for cars in the game. The racing windows, on the other hand, prevent the occupants from using throwables such as Sticky Bombs, and provides no meaningful side protections for them.
